We gather our young witchlings together at the Solstice's each year giving them the opportunity to witness the magic of Sisterhood. We gather to celebrate the changing of seasonals and personal growth. We are cultivating traditions that are markers of time. Vivienne has been a part of the Winter Solstice since she was five, my little Leo calles the South, the Fire to our circle each gathering and it is beautiful to watch her call and hold space.
You know what is more meaningful than the magic experience at each gathering? The fact that we are providing our girls with their Wise Women. Providing them a generation of trusted women who can support them in ways different than a Mother. I am honored to have been able to now witness girls for multiple seasons and years, to have their stories documented, to see at each circle the generation of witchlings dive deeper into their self-discovery. The depth of their journaling and their ability to express their wishes among us.
There is so much intention to the generational gatherings here, we are providing a foundation of creativity, self-awareness and a support system that does not exist in the wild world. We are a growing community of like-minded women, and our daughters get to be a part of that.
Our grimoires we collect each month, our notes and reflections - one day these will be passed down - our knowledge and the depth of our own understanding will be their foundation to build upon. These are the grimoires for our granddaughters.
